Marcia Odle-McNair is an artist, author, and educator who holds BFA and MFA degrees in Fine Arts from Hunter College (CUNY). She has exhibited artwork throughout NYC and across the United States. Marcia's artwork reflects a contemporary approach to present the interactions of colors, nature, and geometry in an abstract format.
Marcia has worked as an educator for over 40 years. She has taught at Hunter College, St. Peter's College, and for NYC schools. She is also the author of Kwanzaa Crafts: Gifts and Decorations for a Meaningful and Festive Celebration (1998). Marcia is a member of the Long Island Black Artists Association, Huntington Arts Council, Long Island Arts Council, Babylon Council for Art, and a Board Member of Westbury Arts Gallery.
